Dan, Scheller, 5th hour: The setting in fade to black is a small town in florida it is important to the story because this is where Alex (our Main chracter) gets attacked and injured but this is also where he gets persicuted for having the HIV vires and he meets the books love intrest Jennifer. This town is where he becomes freinds with the witness. lastly this is the town that clinton (the accused) is from. I dont really know what else the setting is used for besides being a crime site. Well there are settings infashbacks that other characters have.
Dan Scheller, 5th hour: well now i have to talk about the main character so here i go. the to main charaters are Alex Crusan and Clinton Cole, first alex. Alex is a student who is shunned from his school because he is HIV positive and because of that he feels lonly even though his parents smother him. whiney little idiot, anyway he also is sixteen tall smartand mexican hes got a problem because when people are nice to him he thinks they feel sory for him which they do because he had the windshield of his car smashed in by some stupid @$%. Now clinton is this fat kid who acts tough is racist and a germaphob. so he he goes and breaks the Crusan's window. then gets worried he'll get in trouble so he calls his dad who left them and he doesnt talk to him. In laymans term hes a big JERK.
Dan Scheller 5th hour: this book is horrible the story has a very bad plot line and the character act nothing like real people . i mean an entire town rejects one kid because hes HIV positive that just wouldnt happen and even the people in the hospital acted like he had the plague. but the main character is so whiny i mean he never stops complaining and he takes the whole your gonna die thing way to easily. if you found out that you were gonna die wouldnt you be worried or something.
Dan scheller 5th hour: if you ever fell like reading this book read this comment first the only reason i am reading it is because it had a couple of pages that have like seven words on them and even thats not worth it and the cover is enough to send you away i mean it has a picture of a guy holding a bat saying this bopok is so bab you would rather get hit in the face and trust option number to might be better. so thats my comment please read it and do your self a favor. DON'T READ THIS BOOK!!!
Dan, Scheller, 5th hour: This week i have to talk about enternal and external confict of the characters which is basicy the entire book, but i should probably narrow it down. Basicly the main character, Alex, is worried wether he should tell the cops that Clinton attacked him when he knows that he didn't or he should lie and get him in trouble any way. so he does what ever teen would do get revenge i mean do the right thing (LAME). so he thinks about how clinton broke his sisters window, put threataning notes in his locker, and made fun of him on a daily basis, what a jerk, but he decides to talk clinton in person, why, i dont know. i think that he is going to get clinton arrested because he probably wants revenge.

Dan scheller 5th: this is my review of fade to black. in short this book had a terrible plot, aful characters, and was altogether bad. there may be some people who like this book but they need to be checked into an insane asylem as soon as possible. now some people might say dan this book cant be that bad but trust me it is and for one reason the plot. the entire story is about a kid who was diagnosed HIV positive and was attacked then spends the rest of the book in the hospital. yaeh that is a great main character. oh i for got to mention that theres a second main charactor. there can only be one people any way its a kid who is racist no surprise. lastly the ending was terrible. youll never guess what the author did. SHE ENDED THE BOOK ON A CLIFF HANGER!!!! you just dont do that because it sets its self up for failer. well thats the end hope you never have to read this book.
