Yes, after much teasing and pressure, I FINALLY read it.
I looooooooved it! I can't wait for the movie!
My favorite part is the characterization of Bella and Edward. Bella is so confident in some ways, and so unsure of herself in others; so independent and yet sometimes so helpless. Outwardly, she appears strong, but on the inside she questions herself all the time. Edward is flawed but noble, strong, and gentlemanly. Just like a vampire should be ;-)
michael p spencer 6 to ms.angie i have read this book and watched the movies but its very interesting that just like in most movies they dont add very crucial events or they mix them together. i also agree with your description of edward and bella. also this book defies the "original" vampire rules which is kind of odd.
michael p spencer 6 to brittany seeing how youve only seen the movies and are currently reading the books shows your gonna notice things in it that you didnt notice before.also youll notice the exemptions of some scenes in the movie that are in the book. some scenes will be just like the movie but others youll be very confused about and thats how i am. i watched the movie before i read the book and it was very peculiar when i started reading it i literally had to stop reading for a month and start over it is a very complex book.
